Most people that are interested in blogging have heard of WordPress but for those who have just stuck your toe into the waters, it’s not just a website. WordPress is a fully installable database drivin website builder and there are a ton of great people out there who have created some really cool plugins and widgets to use with it. With the right hosting service you can have a WordPress site up and running within a few minutes of your domain going live on the internet.

Stream Movies of Any Format to iPad and iPod Touch

After copying all your DVD movies to your computer, capturing movies from your computer screen or capturing streaming movies from the web, wouldn’t it be great to watch all of them on your iPad or iPod? I thought it would be so great that I decided to spend a whopping $2.99 to make it happen. With a simple install of a server application and an app on your iPad or iPod touch, you can take any of the movies that you have obtained and play them on the iPad or iPod. Here is another video tutorial to show you how it’s done.

So very cool right. As I said, Air Video is probably the best app I have purchased from the App Store. To be able to play just about any video format on your iPad or iPod is great but to also to be able to easily convert them to m4v files one after the other held in a que with a piece of software that only cost $2.99 —That’s Awesome. Copy DVD Movie to your iPod, iPad, PS3, Xbox or computer.

Have you wanted to take all those DVDs off the shelf and copy that DVD movie to your computer and into a format that you can use on your iPad, iPod, computer, Xbox, PS3,and just about any other device you can think of. Well, I don’t know about you, but I have. Not only have I thought about it but I have done it. The following video tutorial will show you how to copy a DVD movie. So press play and enjoy.

So imaging being able to copy that DVD movie to a digital form to be munipulated in any way that you would like. Personally mine are all stored on a computer that I use as a server in my home network. Since I’m sharing my data through the network I am able to take any copy of a DVD movie and watch it on any of the computers in my home. Also, since I have a wireless network, I am able to watch them on a laptop or, my favorite, on my iPod or iPad. I have another piece of software on my computer that acts as a streaming server that will automatically convert any standard video file, on the fly (meaning while streaming), into a format that will play on my iPod touch or iPad. Even further than that I am able to connect both of those devices to my 42″ LCD television, or any other television in my home , and play that copy of a DVD movie. In later posts I will go over the software that I use for streaming and the cable used to connect iPods and iPads to your television, so check back soon.

Recording Streaming Music

Have you wanted access to more music but don’t want to risk getting a virus from such peer to peer sharing services as Limewire and Bear Share? Well I just might have another far safer method. Some of you may remember the dual cassette decks that could record from one to another. You know, place a cassette in A and a blank cassette in B, start playing A and get ready to press record………..NOW! You may also remember listening to the radio and clicking the record button on your stereo so you could record it to a cassete. Well, as you know, those days are over. (If you don’t know this, well I’m telling you they are.) Sony has finally even given up on the Walkman. So what do we have today? Digital everything.
